Terms of Service

You must provide an accurate mobile number and verify it to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your number secure. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

You may only message guests who have given you permission to text them. You represent that you have obtained the necessary consent for every recipient on your list, in compliance with the TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and applicable law.

You may not use the Service to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or carrier-prohibited content (including certain regulated categories). We apply a message policy that blocks known carrier-filtered keywords and link hosts, and we honor STOP/HELP keywords on your behalf.

Each event has a message allotment. Carriers, not Text My Event, ultimately control delivery; we do not guarantee that every message will be delivered. Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Standard SMS rates and carrier rules apply.

You retain ownership of the guest lists, messages, and media you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and transmit that content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the content you send.

Paid plans and message top-ups are billed as described at purchase. Free-trial allotments are provided as-is and may change. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text My Event is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for undelivered or delayed messages.
